PassPorter’s Window Seat: MouseFest 2007

After dinner, we met with other folks for the PassPorter Keychain Exchange and IllumiNations Meet! I got a great Wilderness Lodge keychain. After the show, we took a group shot with, oh, 8 different cameras! Here’s the one mattnkatsdad (mattnkatsmum’s husband) bgraciously took so I could be in it.

We are eating dinner (my first real meal of the day) at Yakitori House. I ordered a lot of my favorite comfort foods (salad with ginger dressing and curry with rice) while Alexander devours his favorite — Tokyo rolls!

Wow, “exhaustion” doesn’t begin to describe how I feel now. I came back to our room, fell on the bed next to Alexander, and asleep within seconds. A 30-minute nap and a couple of ibuprofen later, and I’m ready to head to Epcot. I happened to glance out our 14th story window and discovered we had an amazing view (the fact that I hadn’t noticed until now should tell you a lot).

Mega Mouse Meet is winding down — I didn’t get too many photographs during it as I was literally running the show wirh Dave. But Alexander is ecstatic as he gets to keep a bunch of balloons! My nieces Megab and Natalie — who were very helpful during the event, distributed the balloon bouquets to other children.

We had a huge turnout for Mega Mouse Meet — we estimate at least 750 folks showed up! That’s a 66% increase over last year!

We finished preparing our table in time for the opening of Mega Mouse Meet. Our theme this year is a Customs Office (”May we see your PassPortsrs?” “Are you here for Dizness or pleasure?”)

Our table is mostly setup for Mega Mouse Meet, though we have yet to put our books and giveaways out. We’ll finish the setup in the morning. Tomorrow will be a busy and exhausting day, and my phone reception is bad in the ballroom, so please don’t be surprised if I don’t post photos immediately. Until tomorrow!
