Circle of Life

December 5, 2007 at 11:52 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

The Circle of Life scene in Disney Dreams brought a tear to my eye tonight. The song I most associate with my son Alexander us “The Circle of Life” and I like to sing it to him at bedtime. Well, by this time in the show, he’d fallen asleep and was resting up against me. It all just caught up with me. I’m so happy to be a mother!

It Snowed!

December 5, 2007 at 11:51 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

Snow fell from the ceiling during the Beauty and the Beast scene in tonight’s Disney Dreams show. This is a new addition since my last cruise. The photo shows the snow illuminated in the stagelights overhead.

Pooped in the Porthole

Alexander was very tired and restless at dinner, so we went for a walk. He stopped to “rest” in one of the big portholes on deck 3. He looks very pooped! He hasn’t napped since our cruise began!

Quiet Moment

December 5, 2007 at 10:37 am | In Uncategorized | No Comments

I just dropped Alexander off at Flounder’s Reef, as we committed to brunch at Palo. He was not happy and I feel like a bad mommy. Then it turns out we arrived at Palo 30 minutes earlier, so I’ve retreated to Cove Cafe to collect myself. It’s so hard to leave him with strangers. I almost hope my pager rings to say come and get him, but of course I don’t really want that as it would mean he is upset. Ah, the agony and the ecstasy!
