Circle of Life
December 5, 2007 at 11:52 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsThe Circle of Life scene in Disney Dreams brought a tear to my eye tonight. The song I most associate with my son Alexander us “The Circle of Life” and I like to sing it to him at bedtime. Well, by this time in the show, he’d fallen asleep and was resting up against me. It all just caught up with me. I’m so happy to be a mother!

It Snowed!

Pooped in the Porthole
December 5, 2007 at 11:49 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsAlexander was very tired and restless at dinner, so we went for a walk. He stopped to “rest” in one of the big portholes on deck 3. He looks very pooped! He hasn’t napped since our cruise began!

Quiet Moment
December 5, 2007 at 10:37 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsI just dropped Alexander off at Flounder’s Reef, as we committed to brunch at Palo. He was not happy and I feel like a bad mommy. Then it turns out we arrived at Palo 30 minutes earlier, so I’ve retreated to Cove Cafe to collect myself. It’s so hard to leave him with strangers. I almost hope my pager rings to say come and get him, but of course I don’t really want that as it would mean he is upset. Ah, the agony and the ecstasy!
