NASA Channel
December 1, 2007 at 11:58 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsI slept in today after my late night on the computer. When I turned on the TV to find a Saturday morning cartoon, we found the NASA Channel. Seriously! We’re just a few minutes from the launchpad, after all. Here’s our TV in the king bedroom of our two-bedtoom suite at the Residence Inn … On the screen is the mission control room as they getting ready for next Thursday’s launch:

I could take up residence in this Residence Inn
December 1, 2007 at 4:14 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsWe’re staying at the relatively new Residence Inn near Port Canaveral tonight and tomorrow night. We have a two-bedroom suite to accommodate us and our haul of luggage. It’s huge (see the living room below), quite upscale, and very reasonably priced. Oh, and free Internet access and breakfast in the morning, too! Highly recommended. I’d show you the bedrooms, but it’s the middle of the night and everyone’s sleeping, which I should be, too. Until tomorrow!
